Visual, step-by-step coaching designed to transcend language
Amazon needed to communicate process changes to shipment packers across multiple languages. Even with translators on staff, the workflow was too complex to explain through bulleted instructions alone, especially when the goal was to raise performance toward a higher packages-per-hour threshold.
We created an IKEA-style, start-to-finish visual explanation of the process with limited text. The workstation was illustrated and key steps were reinforced with smooth motion graphics, clear callouts, and ergonomic coaching cues. The goal was simple: convert complex instructions into a visual experience that holds up across languages.
Designed for: high-throughput coaching and reinforcement
Built to: transcend language with minimal text
Execution: multi-angle video + illustrated overlays + motion graphics
Reception: well received as an easy source of coaching
This project focused on clarity under real constraints: multilingual teams, strict workflow requirements, and coaching that needed to translate to the floor immediately.
Process changes were difficult to communicate consistently across languages. The workflow had multiple decision points where small misses could impact throughput and quality.
The training needed to work for multilingual teams with limited on-screen text. Visuals and motion cues had to carry the instruction.
We illustrated the workstation, captured key camera angles, and built animated overlays that highlight each step and decision point. Smooth motion graphics reinforce the details that matter and keep pacing tight.
Early feedback from the team indicates the content landed well and can serve as an easy, repeatable source of coaching for packers and supervisors.
If you are trying to increase productivity, reduce errors, or reinforce critical behaviors, let's map the right approach.
